50 Years of Mini-Junior rugby

Gosforth Rugby Club are delighted to celebrate 50 years of Mini-Junior rugby.

The juniors were started by former President Bill Bell with assistance from the likes of George Douglas - Graeme (Shadow) Jamieson and Richard Clark. From starting at the New Ground on the Great North Road, the minis went from strength to strength. Whilst there have been some turbulent years, the Mini/Junior section is looking very healthy with some great dedicated coaches from under 6s to under 17s.
