Become a Volunteer

A successful rugby club is more than just teams on the pitch. Players and coaches are vitally important but so are the many dedicated volunteers who work hard behind the scenes to help a club function.

Our Club has seen big changes over the last few seasons but is still being run by a few key members. To continue our development, the club will always benefit from new volunteers joining us, and being part of this social but competitive institution. The Club currently runs two senior men’s teams, and a mini junior section providing rugby for 6 year old's to 17 year old's.

Many hands make light work and we always need more who are willing to step up and make a difference. Volunteers could be involved in running the teams, contacting players, preparing for match day, pulling pints or cutting the grass etc. Most of the existing committee at Gosforth RFC carry out many roles – they do it because they enjoy it and because they want the club to succeed.

You don’t have to be an expert to get involved, just an interest in the game and the knowledge that any help you could give would have a beneficial effect to all.

If you are interested in helping us in any way just get in touch.
